It was a pleasure to talk about AI in practice with Lucas Mattos and Arthur Castro. Thanks, Product Arena, for the invitation, and thanks to everyone who joined — it’s always a pleasure! Even more so when I saw so many great people I’ve worked with and so many friends on the same call!
Talking (trash) about AI is something I love. Almost as much as applying it. 👀 And it was funny to see how hard it was for me to find a case where the foundation models got it really wrong. Honestly, I’ve always looked at it as me giving the wrong instructions. But I found a nice case that gave me quite a… let’s say, headache (hello, Lovable!)
In the end I talked more trash about people than about AI. Knowing how to use AI is by far one of the most important skills right now.
Another thing I noticed: I started talking about OpenAI in December 2022, but seriously… Wow, not even 3 years. It’s scary to see the evolution.
Here’s to 3 more exciting years, and to talking even more with these folks!

I translated it into English with the help of AI (Claude): it let me bring my LinkedIn posts to people who don’t read Portuguese without rewriting each one from scratch. I reviewed the translation to keep my original meaning and tone.
