With the news of tech giants cutting jobs where there used to be a shortage of professionals, I see that knowing how to solve problems with #genai is an incredible skill.

For example, not assuming you’ll have a full team of people in design, development and data analysis. More and more, you can solve things on your own.

Of course, I’m nowhere near suggesting firing everyone to try to replace them with agents, but I’m making a point of being a “full-service” person in tech/design/data/product.

I’ve always felt like a “duck” — the Brazilian way of saying jack of all trades — for knowing a little of everything, but now… with the 80/20 rule in mind, I’m enjoying the idea.

I’ve gone back to writing some code, I want to improve my design skills, and I want to dive deeper into data analysis.

I’ll share here what I learn along the way.

Oh! And the foundation model matters little. For code, I use Gemini inside Google Colab. For other things, I use ChatGPT. Soon I should test Google AI Studio more deeply. As I keep saying, the model matters little — just know how to get the most out of it. :)
