Recording calls to think things through with Claude

Something I’ve been doing a lot, and I’m not sure I’ve mentioned it here: recording the call in Google Meet, grabbing the transcript, and then using it to discuss with Claude what I need to do. Wow, it really helps organize my ideas.

It sounds silly, but it comes from getting a different perspective on the feature you’re building, being able to chat freely without a script, understanding and changing things along the way, and even sending requests straight to Claude.

It’s been working really well for me. When I’m meeting in person, I record on my phone, drop it into NotebookLM or YouTube and copy the transcript. It works a bit worse because it doesn’t identify who said what, but it works.

New ways of interacting with the product. It’s been fun.
